Eastern Conference – LeBron James

The Cavs went 4-0 last week against the Hawks, Jazz, Lakers, and Wizards. In those games LeBron averaged 38 minutes, and averaged 24.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 13.5. On top of averaging a triple double during this stretch, he also acquired triple doubles in 3 of the 4 matchups. Right now Giannis is beating on the door of player of the week, but doesn’t have the next level ability to will his team to victory that James posses.

Western Conference – Chris Paul

If there ever was speculation on how the Rockets would be with two ball controlling All-Stars, let that be laid to rest. Paul averaged 26-6.3-7.8 during the last week as his team went undefeated against the Bucks, Hornets, Spurs, and Pellies. He was the owner of an outrageous +/- of 14.8. Not to mention he shot 45% from beyond the arc. The Rockets might finally have added that piece that makes them a legit competitor to the Warriors. For the sake of entertainment, I sure hope so.
